Zeta Jones-backs casa da cidade Film Festival

CATHERINE ZETA-JONES, acrescentou algumas Hollywood glamour ao Swansea Film Festival anual ao concordar com a tornar-se seu patrono.
Falando de sua casa Bermudas ontem, ela disse que ela estava encantado por estar associada com o evento, agora conhecido como o Swansea Life Film Festival.
Ela disse: "Tenho orgulho de fazer parte da vida Swansea Film Festival. Ele oferece uma grande oportunidade para a cidade e uma vitrina para o talento local.
"Eu me sinto as possibilidades são infinitas, já que fornece talento local, tanto na frente e por trás da câmera a chance de se expressar criativamente.
"O festival também, acima de tudo, talento local dá a oportunidade de mostrar os seus trabalhos em uma arena internacional. É um grande impulso para a cidade e toda a gente que vive aqui ".
O festival começa ainda este mês após o início vida, em 2006.
É já a começar a ser considerada como uma grande vitrine para filmes independentes.
Presidente da British Academy of Film, Television Arts, em Los Angeles (Bafta / AL) Peter Morris, afirmou: "Ainda há muito instituída festivais como Cannes, Toronto e Sundance obter um lote de publicidade, eles se tornam quase demasiado famoso por seus próprios bom em termos de fornecer uma plataforma para novos talentos filme-makers.
"Festivais como Swansea prestar muito mais condições equitativas para cima-e-chegados a mostrar os seus filmes."
Swansea Life Film Festival Arwel Richards disse o diretor Swansea-nascido era uma estrela do apoio extremamente importante para o festival.
Ele disse: "Para ganhar o apoio de Catherine zeta-Jones é uma enorme honra para o festival de cinema e mais propels-nos até a escada de" deve assistir 'eventos em Festival de Cinema agenda ".
Richard Lloyd, presidente executivo do festival, acrescentou: "Para ter o aval das celebridades do mundo do cinema acrescenta credibilidade ao que eu e os meus colegas estão a tentar fazer."

CATHERINE ZETA-JONES has added some Hollywood glamour to the annual Swansea Film Festival by agreeing to become its patron.
Speaking from her Bermuda home yesterday, she said she was delighted to be associated with the event, now known as the Swansea Life Film Festival.
She said: “I am proud to be part of the Swansea Life Film Festival. It provides a great opportunity for the city and a showcase for local talent.
“I feel the possibilities are endless as it gives local talent both in front and behind the camera the chance to express themselves creatively.
“The festival also, more importantly, gives local talent the opportunity to show their work in an international arena. It’s a great boost for the city and everyone who lives here.”
The festival starts later this month after beginning life in 2006.
It is already beginning to be regarded as a major showcase for independent films.
Chairman of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in Los Angeles (Bafta/LA) Peter Morris said: “While long established festivals such as Cannes, Toronto and Sundance get a lot of publicity, they’ve become almost too famous for their own good in terms of providing a platform for talented new film-makers.
“Festivals such as Swansea provide much more a level playing field for up-and-comers to showcase their films.”
Swansea Life Film Festival director Arwel Richards said the Swansea-born star’s support was a tremendously important for the festival.
He said: “To gain the support of Catherine Zeta-Jones is a huge honour for the film festival and further propels us up the ladder of ‘must attend’ events on the film festival calendar.”
Richard Lloyd, the festival executive chairman, added: “To have the endorsement of celebrities from the world of film adds credibility to what I and my colleagues are trying to do.”
The festival will see movies made by a total of 267 independent film-makers being screened for free at Swansea’s Dylan Thomas Centre from May 31 to June 7.

Esqueça Cannes. Catherine zeta-Jones diz que o Swansea Film Festival, vai ser ele é a partir de agora.
Enquanto Mandrake tem alguma dificuldade em imaginar as ruas da cidade com gridlocked preto limos ostentam o impulsionadores e Shakers de Hollywood, a atriz galês concordou em tornar-se o patrono do evento anual, que arranca no sábado.

Ai este apoio não foi entregue à população da cidade em pessoa - mas por telefone a partir de casa, em Bermuda que ela partilha com o marido, Michael Douglas.

Forget about Cannes. Catherine Zeta-Jones says that the Swansea Film Festival is going to be where it's at from now on.
While Mandrake has some difficulty imagining the city's streets gridlocked with black limos baring the movers and shakers of Hollywood, the Welsh actress has agreed to become the patron of the annual event, which kicks off on Saturday.
"I feel that the possibilities are endless as it gives local talent both in front and behind the camera the chance to express themselves creatively," she says.
Alas this endorsement was not delivered to the city's populace in person – but by telephone from the home in Bermuda that she shares with her husband, Michael Douglas.
